The coding that I did was not very interesting to me. I don't mind doing it but, I just think it is kind of boring. I think there is a push to do it in high school because once a student goes to college, the college is going to want to teach them as much as they can, but if the student has no experience with it then they can't cover as much as they want. I did pledge to the page because my teacher told me to. I do believe that coding is important and will be needed for the technology filled years to come.

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was the president of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. His government focused on dismantling the legacy of apartheid through tackling institutionalized racism, poverty and inequality, and fostering racial reconciliation.  He was an anti-apartheid revolutionary and was later arrested and  served 27 years in prison for conspiracy to overthrow government. He was released in 1990 because of an international campaign that lobbied for his release. In 1993 he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. He will go down in history as one of the most well known people to fight segregation and discrimination in human history.

I believe that have googliness. I try to the right thing and help others. I can think of many people who have displayed googliness in their life. Many famous and many I know personally. People show it everyday. Through random acts of kindness and doing the right thing.  Googliness is a word that means many things. Anyone can be it at any time. Its all up to you when you want to be googly.

50 years ago today a tragic event happened that changed the history of America. The assassination
of president John F. Kennedy was and always will be remembered by the people it effected. Many of them still remember where they were when it happened. September 11 was very similar to it as well. I too remember where I was, just like people in 1963. I don't think technology would have changed the way people felt about it, but it would have change how quickly people found out about it. Today's technology would have probably prevented the situation and we would have not lost one of our nations greatest leaders that day.

I think it is very important to thank a veteran everyday because of the many sacrifices they do for all of the U.S citizens. They put their lives on the line for us everyday. Veterans day is just a small tribute to them compared to what they have done and are doing for us everyday.  The past week while working on the veterans day project in Multimedia, I got to listen to some of the many stories Mr. Lynch has.  I learned many things from him and thanked him for his time serving our country. I will always remember to thank a veteran

Communication is the key to most of the major projects that have been, and are done today.  Without communication things like the Hoover Dam would have never been completed.  E-mail, Texting, and being able to video chat with people across the world is changing our everyday life.  I think the power of communication  between teachers, students, and parents is very useful. Teachers being able to communicate with parents more easily will help stop any confusion and miss communication between them. Not only will it do that, but it will also keep parents in the loop so they can know what is going on.

In the article I agreed with the statement that it is engaging way to teach students and make educational efforts more effective. I believe that gaming keeps kids attention longer and they will learn more by this.  Yes, there is going to be some flaws in it such as some kids not being interested and not being able to comprehend and play the games. But, this is a new change of pace for learning and I think it will overall help learning.

I think if everyone started using Google cars it would greatly help the world.  Traffic deaths would decrease and so would the use of fuel.  People could travel easier without having the distraction of texts, call, and other distracting things.  The only drawbacks that I can see is if pedestrians or animals jump out in front of them. They can't react fast enough to stop. All in all I think they are a good idea and will help in many ways.

I believe that if Norway started a campaign against cyber bullying using the internet to stop it, that it could be able to make the national news.  Me and peers generation is really the first generation to test the internet world.  We are still learning how the internet works.  There are still many flaws like cyber bullying, but I believe we can fix it through time. There are also a lot of good things that come out of the internet.  I think education about digital citizenship could help stop cyber bullying. I Finally, I believe that Norway COULD be a model for the U.P

You should prepare for the ACT because it is one of the main things that colleges look at when you apply to their school. Keeping your GPA up is not a bad decision either. The look at both GPA and ACT score which will be heavily weighted when they decide if you go to their school or not.You should also prepare for other standardized tests that stay on your record. They may not be as important as the ACT but they  are also a factor in whether or not you get accepted to college. I would recommend using all of those resources to prepare for the ACT. The more you are prepared the better.
